You're invited to the MDBW Board chocolate making and tasting with Elyce at CocoTutti. Elyce spoke at a MDBW event a few years ago and you may have tasted her chocolate then or you may have found her chocolates locally.

What you will take home with you…

  1. Knowledge of different chocolates and the tempering process

  2. Taste of chocolate ~ yum

  3. Three (3) chocolate tablets that you create!

Free parking is also available at the Lafayette BART Station with an easy walk or free shuttle to the event. Don’t forget to take advantage of our complimentary bike valet at 81 Lafayette Circle. You're invited to join the Lafayette Res Run for Education this October! Choose from the 5k, 10k, 2-mile fun run/walk, or the virtual Reservoir Challenge.

Race through downtown Lafayette or push for your best time around the scenic Lafayette Reservoir on race day, Sunday, October 20. Prefer a virtual option? Take on the Reservoir Challenge between October 12-19 on the paved trail.

  • 5K Race: October 20, 2024, 8:00 AM

  • 10K Run: October 20, 2024, 8:15 AM

  • 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk: October 20, 2024, 8:45 AM

  • Reservoir Challenge (virtual): October 12-19, 2024, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM

 

Proceeds benefit Lafayette's public schools, Campolindo, and Miramonte! Strollers and dogs are welcome in the 2-mile fun run/walk, 10k, and Reservoir Challenge, but please leave skateboards, scooters, and bikes at home for safety reasons.

Don’t miss the Healthy Lifestyles Fair, located on Lafayette Circle, adjacent to La Fiesta Square, from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM on race day. This free health fair will feature public information and services for all!

​

Co-presented by the Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette, this event has raised over $178,000 for local schools in the last five years. Register now and help make a difference!
