About the event
The saying about “an ounce of prevention” definitely applies to preventing crime. At our September meeting, two specialists from the Walnut Creek Police Department will share valuable information and practical tips to improve our preparedness for personal and residential security.
Kira Raman is the department’s Crime Prevention Specialist. She is involved in neighborhood watch, business watch, and other critical activities in our community. A Bay Area native, Kira has been in law enforcement for seven years.
Lauren Gehring first served with the Clayton Police Department while in college, and has been with the Walnut Creek Police Department for almost 15 years. Her roles have included Police Services Officer, Lead Police Records Technician, and currently Crime and Intelligence Analyst.
