Let Your Career
Turn You On!
by
Kristine Carey

The average person spends 2000
hours a year working; is this amount of work time OK with you? And
if you're going to spend time and energy on work, don't you think
you otta darn
well like it?
This talk is about liking it,
about letting your career turn you on!
As a result of this talk you
will:
- Discover
the relationship between work and having fun, and how to why
it's important - you don't get points for making it hard
- Determine
how much are you playing not to loose, rather than playing to
win - and what playing to win really means
- Tell
yourself the truth about your work desires - more 'yes', less
'should'
An experiential presentation,
you will be glad you gave yourself the gift of getting excited
about your work life!

I
am so excited about our March speaker, Kristine Carey. She is an
expert at helping business people find ways to enjoy their work and
their lives. I'm excited because I have been giving this exact
issue a lot of thought lately. As a business owner, there doesn't
seem to be a lot of time for anything other than work, so I have
been trying to structure my business so that it is maximally
enjoyable for me. In my case this is not going to be an overnight
fix. However, I am convinced that for all of us there are ways to
make every day more enjoyable even as we are striving to get our
businesses where we want them to be. I'm really looking forward to
hearing Kristine's ideas on this topic. I'm sure I will leave our
meeting with some tools I can use, as I always do. I hope you will
join us on March 10 for this useful and informative presentation.
